Junior Infants

To our Amazing Junior Infants & Parents/Guardians,

We cannot believe we have reached the end of our school year. Congratulations

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the wonderful work you did with your children over the last few months. Thank you for staying connected with us throughout and for sending us so many lovely photos and videos of the children’s work. We really appreciate everything that was shared with us.

We hope you all have a fantastic Summer. Stay safe and have a well-earned break. We wish you all the best for Senior Infants.

Kind Regards,

Ms Hanlon, Ms Quinn and Mrs Cabello.

Virtual Sports Day Monday 15/6/20
Today is a very exciting day for all our Junior Infants – Sports Day! We have lots of different activities to get you all moving and being active. We are suggesting you have your own ‘Sports Day at Home’. However, we know this will not be possible for all families. Feel free to complete the activities on whatever day suits you and your families. You could even spread them out and do a few activities each day this week. We would love to see photos of your ‘Sports Day at Home’ so please send us photos via the Aladdin Connect app or on the school email.
Click on the link below to find all the activities.
Have lots of fun!

Suggested Daily Activities
Keep going over all your sounds:

The Just Phonics Book is also good for revising sounds.

June is the time of year when we assess the children on various aspects of English. This week, you may want to check what sounds your child knows. Point to the sound and ask your child to tell you the sound. If your child does not know a sound, please go over it with them every day.
