Counting:
- Count forward and backward 1-10. Then try
starting at different numbers e.g. start at 4 and count forward to 10 or start
at 7 and count backward to 1.
- Ask your child before and after questions
from 1-10. What number comes before the number 3? What number comes after the
number 6?
- You could also ask your child what number
comes between two numbers. E.g. what number comes between the numbers 3 and 5.
Gaeilge:
We are only including
this just in case there are any parent/ guardians who feel up to having a go
and have access to a computer or laptop. Please don’t worry if you don’t.
We understand it
might be difficult for parents who do not speak Irish to help children. We are suggesting
that the children revise some of the lessons from the theme “Bia” (food).
